
Dr. Scott Sandeman
Dr. Scott Sandeman is the owner of the Glenroads Veterinary Clinic in Bettendorf and LeClaire Veterinary Clinic in LeClaire, Iowa. Dr. Sandeman has lived and practiced in the Quad Cities for over 20 years. After graduating from Iowa State University, Dr. Sandeman practiced for 3 years in the Chicagoland area before moving to Bettendorf.
Dr. Sandeman practiced as an associate and partner in a local clinic before becoming the sole proprietor of his clinics in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Sandeman has written a pet column–Paper Trained–for the Sunday edition of The Quad City Times for over 10 years, he is a past vice-president of the Scott County Humane Society, was a founding board member and shareholder of the Animal Emergency Clinic and was consulting editor for Iams Pet Food magazines.
Dr. Sandeman’s family includes his wife Teri and sons Colin and Keaton. Maddi, the family's miniature goldendoodle, enjoys her work as official greeter!

Dr. Laura Shepard
Dr. Laura Shepard received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and prior to that received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, graduating with high honors. After spending time teaching veterinary medicine she joined the Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics two and half years ago. She enjoys working with our wonderful clients and their pets. Dr. Shepard grew up in Michigan but now resides in Davenport, with her husband and daughter. They have two cats, Bob Jr, an orange tabby, and Tony, a brown tabby. Dr. Shepard enjoys reading, crochet, and biking the lovely trails around the Quad Cities.

Dr. Kim Flickinger
Dr. Kim Flickinger received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2001. Upon graduation she was accepted into a one year rotating internship program at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey. She continued her training at GSVS for antoher year before returning to the midwest. Dr. Flickinger moved to the Quad City area in 2003 after accepting a position at the Animal Emergency Center. She worked as an emergency veterinarian for six years before coming to work at Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics in March 2010. Dr. Flickinger and her husband, Bruce, enjoy outdoor activities with their two young children. They enjoy going for walks and bike rides, running, watching River Bandit games, and going to live music concerts. Their family also includes their dog, Sierra, and cat, Emily.

Coleen Hughes, Veterinary Technician
Coleen Hughes has worked for Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics since they opened in 2006. She graduated with her Veterinary Technician degree from Medical Institute of Minnesota and has worked with Dr. Sandeman for over twenty years. Coleen resides in rural Grand Mound with her husband Todd. They have three grown sons and four granddaughters. In addition to her children and grandchildren Coleen has 2 dachshunds, Rhonda and Hawkeye, a bloodhound, Augustus, and Mocha the cat.

Jean Dixon, Veterinary Technician
Jean Dixon began working at Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics in February of 2007. Jean was drawn to Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics for the chance to work with Dr. Sandeman and Dr. Shepard. She especially enjoys working with our wonderful clients. Jean currently lives in Reynolds, Illinois with her husband of twenty-two years, Brad, and their daughters, Kayla and Nikki. They also have two dogs, Duke and Buzz, along with their cat, Neuman. In her spare time Jean enjoys horseback riding, watching her daughter's sporting events, and gardening.

Morgan Fox, Veterinary Technician
Morgan Fox started working at Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics in September of 2008 as a Veterinary Technician. Morgan’s bubbly personality and friendliness made her a great addition to our team. Morgan has lived in LeClaire her entire life and currently resides there with her husband, Dave, their son, Garrett and daughter, Timberlen. Their family also includes Gander, a chocolate lab and two cats, Gabe, a siamese mix, and Echo, a domestic long hair. Some of her hobbies include scrapbooking and reading.

Anne Brown, Receptionist
Anne Brown began working at Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinics nearly six years ago as a receptionist. The constant interaction with clients and their pets plus the continually changing atmosphere are things Anne enjoys about her time spent at the office. Anne lives in Davenport with her husband, Jeremiah, and daughter, Isabel. Their pets include Charley, a shih tzu / bichon, Kinnick, pit bull mix, and her cats, Clark and Lewis Muffin. She enjoys traveling and seeing new places, trying to keep up with Isabel and attending Iowa Hawkeye games. Go Hawks!

Sara Clasen, Receptionist
Sara Clasen joined the Glenroads and LeClaire Veterinary Clinic team in September of 2008 as a receptionist. She enjoys greeting and welcoming the superb clients and their companions when they visit Glenroads. Sara was raised in Maquoketa, Iowa and currently resides in Bettendorf. Sara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking, reading, sewing, gardening and crafts.

Amber Kahley, Groomer
Having fourteen years of experience in the grooming field Amber Kahley is a valuable member of the Glenroads Veterinary Clinic. Amber has worked with Glenroads Veterinary Clinic for two years. Amber presently lives in Port Byron, Illinois with her children Austin and Aubrey. She really enjoys our great and loyal customers and she loves making their best friends look like a million bucks! She also enjoys spoiling her own pets, Reba, a red standard poodle, and her cats, Chopper and Cody. Amber enjoys spending her spare time outdoors and spending time with her family especially attending summer activities including swimming, camping, zoos, and carnivals.
